The device (1) has a body (10) on which a mobile handle (11) is mounted, where the handle controls an opening/closing mechanism of a door. A mobile handle locking/unlocking unit is inserted in the body and displaced between a locking position of the handle and an unlocking position of the handle. A mobile activating element (15) forming a detachable cylinder is inserted in the body. The activating element displaces the locking/unlocking unit to unlock the handle, where the activating element is retained in the body by the locking/unlocking unit.
