PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device and a facility search support method, capable of further easily searching a desired facility. SOLUTION: Main product and main place data which hierarchically registers the classes of main products and main places of each prefecture are preliminarily prepared. When facility category search of a prefecture other than the prefecture of own location is performed, a list of middle classes of the lower order of a large class selected by a user is displayed (d), in a form in which the middle classes registered in the main product and main place data of the prefecture that is the category search object are arranged at the top thereof, and selection of a middle class is received from the user. A list of facilities belonging to the selected middle class of the category search object prefecture is displayed (e) in a form in which facilities classified to a small class registered in the main product, the main place data of the category search object prefecture are arranged at the top thereof, and selection of a facility is received from the user.
