FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to obtaining ceramic particles, such as proppants. The method of obtaining a ceramic particle involves moulding a precursor particle which contains more than 5 wt % but less than 30 wt % of a first ceramic material and at least 40 wt % of a second ceramic material, said ceramic material being mainly distributed in said precursor.
