PURPOSE: A heater for a pipe is provide to easily install even if a branching pipe is formed in the pipe and to replace a heating unit when a malfunction occurs in the heating unit. CONSTITUTION: A heater for a pipe comprises a covering unit(10) and a heating unit(30). A covering body part(20) of the covering unit is formed in a straight line and is cut in order to separate into a pair of covering body segments(21) comprising of a bilateral symmetry. The covering unit includes a hinge part(11) connecting the pair of covering body segments in order to move to the direction where a vertical section of the covering body curved section is estranged from the coupling position forming a circular cross section.
