PURPOSE: A method for extracting a high molecular material from an alkaline solution is provided to have a simple pretreatment process, and to completely extract a polymer material without structural change. CONSTITUTION: A method for extracting a high molecular material from an alkaline solution comprises: a step of forming an aqueous solution layer, an emulsion layer, and an organic solvent layer by adding and mixing a non-aqueous organic solvent into a polymer material-containing alkali aqueous solution(S110); a step of adding an organic modifier to the aqueous solution layer, the emulsion layer, and the organic solvent layer, and transferring the polymer material to the organic solvent layer(S120); and a step of separating the organic solvent layer, evaporating the organic solvent, and extracting the polymer material.
