PURPOSE: A siloxane resin composition for LED encapsulants is provided to ensure excellent light transmissivity, light resistance, heat resistance, refractivity, and mechanical strength using a siloxane-based hybrid resin. CONSTITUTION: A siloxane resin composition for LED encapsulants comprises 9~90 weight% of a siloxane-based hybrid resin, 10~90 weight% of an organic silicon hydroxide compound containing two or more silicon-bonded hydrogens; and 0.01~1 weight% of a metallic catalyst. The siloxane-based hybrid resin is prepared through the non-hydrolysis polycondensation of organic alkoxysilanes including vinyl groups with organic silane diols in an equivalence ratio of 1~1.5. |
