PURPOSE: A composition containing an agent which measures methylation level of RGC32 gene promoter and a diagnosis method using the same are provided. CONSTITUTION: A composition for diagnosing lung cancer contains an agent which measures methylation level of RGC32(response gene to complement) gene. The agent contains a primer which is specific to methylated sequence of RGC32 or non-methylated sequence. The lung cancer is non-small lung cancer. A compound which changes non-methylated cytosine is sodium bisulfite. A method for providing information for diagnosing lung cancer comprises: a step of measuring GpG island methylation level of RGC32 gene promoter from a biological sample from a patient having lung cancer possibility; and a step of comparing CpG island methylation level. |
