An OLED(Organic Light-Emitting Diode) display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve luminescence efficiency by forming an optical waveguide to increase the quantity of light emitted forwardly. An OLED display device includes a substrate(110), a first electrode, a second electrode, a light emitting member(44), and a photonic crystal member(42). The first electrode is formed on the substrate(110). The second electrode is formed on the first electrode. The light emitting member(44) is inserted between the first electrode and the second electrode. The photonic crystal material(42) is formed at the lower part or the upper part of the substrate(110). The photonic crystal material(42) is formed between the substrate(110) and the first electrode, and has a first thin film with a plurality of holes and a second thin film of a different refractive index from that of the first thin film. |
