PURPOSE: A downward rotation preventing device of an axle box for a railway vehicle is provided to prevent an axle box from being interfered by a movable stopper when the axle box is upwardly rotated because the movable stopper is separated after a lateral axle is detached. CONSTITUTION: A downward rotation preventing device of an axle box for a railway vehicle comprises a movable stopper(210) and a fixed stopper(220). The movable stopper is separably formed on the top of a pivot of an axle box and is rotated with the axle box. The fixed stopper is formed to support the movable stopper in a joint part and prevent the axle box from being rotated downward. A joint fixing block(112) for closing the opened lower part of a hinge hole(111a) is arranged in the joint part. |
