ALUMINUM FOAM PANEL SKIRT FOR TRAIN VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A skirt for a railway vehicle using an aluminum foam panel is provided to reduce the fuel consumption and weight of a railway vehicle by being made of an aluminum foam panel. CONSTITUTION: A skirt(1) for a railway vehicle using an aluminum foam panel(10) comprises rotary hinge members(20) and support rods(30). The aluminum foam panel is made of a rectangular panel. The rotary hinge members are arranged on the aluminum foam panel to rotatably couple a skirt to a railway vehicle. The support rods maintain the open state of the skirt. The aluminum foam panel comprises an aluminum foam member, a front coating member, and a rear coating member. The front coating member is attached to the front exterior of the aluminum foam member by an adhesive. The rear coating member is attached to the rear exterior of the aluminum foam member and is made of a punched plate having multiple holes.
