PURPOSE: A free line input correcting device and a method thereof are provided to correct free lines by generating an intermediate line between a first free line and a second free line. CONSTITUTION: An output unit(111) outputs a free line corresponding to a trace input on a display by receiving the trace input related to a free line from a user. When the output unit outputs a first free line corresponding to a first trace input by receiving the first trace input from the user and outputs a second free line corresponding to a second trace input by receiving a second trace input from the user, a touch point generation unit(112) generates a touch point between the first and the second free lines. An intermediate line generation unit(113) generates an intermediate line between the first and the second free lines based on the touch points.
