<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device that prevents malfunction due to action of a lateral force on an operating member. <P>SOLUTION: A switch device 1 includes: a switch case 3 that is provided inside a door handle (mounting-target member) 2; a switch mechanism that is housed in the switch case 3; and a slider (operating member) 7 that is arranged in the switch case 3 and is selectively movable between a first position to project to the outside from a mounting hole 2a of the door handle 2 through an opening 3a of the switch case 3 and a second position to come into contact with the switch mechanism and operate the switch mechanism. In the rim of the opening 3a of the switch case 3, a projection 3D is formed that prevents lateral load from being imposed on the slider 7 when the slider 7, projecting to the outside through the mounting hole 2a of the door handle 2, is in the first position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
