Provided in embodiments of the present invention are a content publishing method and a user equipment. The content publishing method comprises: a first user equipment having support for a device-to-device (D2D) feature acquiring a resource used for broadcasting information of the first user equipment, where the information of the first user equipment comprises one or a combination among, of the first user equipment, an identity, service information, a service code, and application layer service information; the first user equipment broadcasting on the resource acquired the information of the first user equipment, thus allowing a second user equipment having support for the D2D feature to acquire the information of the first user equipment, and, when successfully paired with the first user equipment, to transmit the information of the first user equipment to a network side device, thus establishing a connection to the first user equipment. The embodiments of the present invention allow for paired terminals the acquisition of QoS information, and provide D2D communication with guaranteed service. |
