JOINT FOR REINFORCING BAR AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method of manufacturing a joint that connects a reinforcing bar having a male screw formed at an end.

SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing a joint for reinforcing bar that includes the steps of: forming a first precursor including a cylindrical body part and a projection streak swelled from the cylindrical body part radially to an outer periphery side; forming a second precursor by cutting an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical body part of the first precursor into a female screw; and forming a cut in the second precursor axially continuously penetrating the cylindrical body part and the projection streak part.
