<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably produce a hot-dip metal plated steel strip excellent in surface quality while suppressing the occurrence of splash defect for a long period even at a usual strip passage speed or at its heightened speed. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a hot-dip metal plated steel strip comprising control of the thickness of an adhered metal by blowing on the surfaces of the steel strip S, the gas from the wiping nozzles 1 arranged facing both surfaces of the steel strip S continuously drawn up from a hot-dip metal plating bath 8. A first electrically charged structure 2 which has a plurality of openings above or in reverse of the wiping nozzle 1 and is charged with positive or negative charges is set up extendedly to a strip width direction so that the height position in a vertical direction is within the region from the upper surface of the wiping nozzle to the height position of a support roll above the plating bath. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
