<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dial for a timepiece showing an appearance with rich spatial effect and a timepiece provided with the dial for the timepiece. <P>SOLUTION: A dial 1 for a timepiece comprises a microlens layer 11 where a plurality of microlenses 111 are regularly arranged when planarly viewed and a decorative layer 12 provided with patterns 121. The microlens layer 11 and the decorative layer 12 are overlapped with each other when planarly viewed. The decorative layer 12 includes a plurality of areas where the patterns 121 are different from each other. The decorative layer 12 suitably has, as the patterns 121, a plurality of linear patterns and/or repeating patterns whose arrangements are the same kinds as those of the microlenses 111 and whose pitches are different from those of the microlenses 111. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
