PURPOSE: A content management method and an image display device using the same are provided to recognize and reproduce information for diverse contents on one screen by syntagmatically managing a list of the content. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(170) of an image display device(100) displays contents provided from a tuner(110), an external device interface unit(130), a network interface unit(135), or a storage unit(140) on a display unit(180). The image display device syntagmatically manages the contents on one screen and provides diverse information using metadata for specific contents received from an SDP(Service Delivery Platform).
