<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel fluorine-containing monoisocyanate composition for a surface treatment agent which can efficiently immobilize fluorine atoms at a low cost on the surface of a substrate having active hydrogen and can impart thereto surface water repellency, to provide a surface treatment agent containing the same, and to provide a method for surface-treating a substrate by using the same. <P>SOLUTION: An isocyanate composition containing 80 wt.% or more (A) fluorine-containing monoisocyanate compound containing at least 4 fluorine atoms in the molecule and represented by formula (1) [wherein Rfs, which are independent of each other, are 1-3C fluoroalkyl groups; -X- is a divalent organic group formed by removing the isocyanate groups from a diisocyanate compound; and n is an integer of 1-3] is used as a surface treatment agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
