<p>PURPOSE: A passenger protection apparatus for a bus is provided to prevent safety accidents in a bus by using a safety guard while quick braking. CONSTITUTION: A passenger protection apparatus for a bus comprises a frame, a safety guard(10), a guiderail(18), and a cylinder for lateral movement. The frame is installed behind a seatback(1). The safety guard is installed in the frame to be slid. The safety guard is projected to the central path in a bus from the seatback for protecting passengers while quick braking. The guiderail guides the projection of the safety guard. The cylinder for lateral movement is installed in the frame for the lateral sliding of the safety guard.</p> |
