<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a canister arrangement structure in a straddle type vehicle, configured to improve layout flexibility by securing an arrangement space of members to be arranged above a rear wheel. <P>SOLUTION: The canister arrangement structure in the straddle type vehicle 1 includes an evaporated fuel processing device that causes the canister 50 to adsorb the evaporated fuel stored in a fuel tank 29, and supplies the evaporated fuel adsorbed by the canister 50 to an intake system of an engine 11. The canister arrangement structure is provided with a dress guard 36 supported by a vehicle frame 2 and overlapping at least part of a rear wheel 9 in a side view, to cover the part from the lateral outside at a distance.
