PURPOSE: A method for preparing artificial marbles is provided to enable the manufacture of thick artificial marble by injecting and curing a composition for a base resin part within a mold of a vacuum condition. CONSTITUTION: Artificial marble comprises a base resin part with thickness of 40mm or greater. The base resin part includes at least one selected from acrylic resin, epoxy resin, melamine resin, and unsaturated polyester resin. A method for preparing the artificial marble comprises the steps of: injecting a composition for a base resin part inside a mold(1) of a vacuum condition; and curing the composition for a base resin part. |
