PURPOSE: An electronic device, a message server, and a printing control method are provided to transmit a printed file to a message server in a conversation message form, thereby efficiently performing the printing. CONSTITUTION: A messenger unit(140) selects an image forming device having an account address as a companion for conversation. A user interface unit(120) receives a file to be printed from the image forming device. A control unit(150) controls the messenger unit and transmits a conversation message to a message server. The conversation message includes the selected file and account information of the image forming device. The messenger unit receives the companion for conversation corresponding to a user account of an electronic device from the message server and displays the companion for conversation. When the image forming device is selected as the companion for conversation, the user interface unit displays a conversation window with the image forming device.
