PURPOSE: A joining structure of a rotating unit of a rotary machine and a method for joining the rotating unit of the rotary machine are provided to evenly spread molten filler metal to a narrow gap between a blade and a shroud by a capillary phenomenon, thereby preventing cracks on a joint portion. CONSTITUTION: A joining structure of a rotating unit of a rotary machine comprises a welding part(121) and a brazing part(122). The rotary machine includes a blade(113) and a shroud(120). A fused portion of the blade and shroud is solidified so that the welding part is formed. The brazing unit is formed in a joint portion(J) of the blade and the shroud. The rotary machine is a compressor or a pump.
