The protector has a steering column (4) with a brake slide (3) slidably mounted on a safety seat (1). Clamping force between the brake slide of the safety seat and a slide (8) is dependent on weight of the occupant. Belts are directly buckled on the safety seat and fittings of the safety seat. The steering column and the loads are transported to the slide under the normal operation with screws. Cup springs are clamped such that the springs are displaced forward or backward during crash of the vehicle. A hydraulic piston is hydraulically connected with another piston.
