<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper core with a deodorizing function having a highly-sustainable deodorant effect, and to provide a roll sheet using the paper core. <P>SOLUTION: The paper core 30 as a core of the roll sheet includes a base paper layer 40 comprising a paper core base paper; and a deodorant layer 50 including resin where granular deodorant substance is mixed and laminated on the base paper layer 40.
