ANTIGEN-BINDING MOLECULE PROMOTING DISAPPEARANCE OF ANTIGENS HAVING PLURALITY OF BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES

The inventors newly found that even for an antigen-binding molecule that inhibits some types of biological activity in vitro but does not inhibit the remaining types of biological activity, in relation to an antigen having at least two types of biological activity, the disappearance of the antigen from the blood (blood serum or blood plasma) is promoted and, consequently, biological activity in vivo can be reduced, as a result of: (i) binding the antigen-binding molecules to a human FcRn under conditions in the acidic pH range; (ii) binding same to a human Fc receptor stronger than natural human IgG, under conditions in the neutral pH range; and (iii) assigning properties to same whereby the activity of binding to the antigen changes depending on the ion concentration conditions.
