摘要 <p>By means of a layered ceramic electronic part having external electrodes that comprises a plating film formed from a plating precipitate that has been deposited on the part main body such as to connect together multiple internal electrodes at the respective pull-out ends, the pull-out ends of the internal electrodes can be sufficiently exposed from the part main body even if, for instance, the polishing step after firing of the part main body is eliminated. When the internal electrodes are formed, unfired Ni layers (24 and 25) the primary component of which is Ni and unfired M layers (28 and 29) the primary component of which is M (at least one selected from the group consisting of Cu, Au, Ag, and Pd) are formed on a ceramic green sheet (23) such that the layers at least partially overlap and an overlapping portion is disposed at least near the pull-out ends. When the firing step is performed, interdiffusion between Ni and M is generated between the unfired Ni layers (24 and 25) and the unfired M layers (28 and 29), volume expansion occurs, and the pull-out ends of the internal electrodes can be sufficiently exposed from the part main body.</p>
