PURPOSE: A method of setting fracture pressure of a safety vent is provided to prevent fracture due to external impacts and to prevent the discharge of filling materials. CONSTITUTION: Safety vents(52) are formed up and down to face each other and are separated from each other across a center support(53) with a specific gap, on the bottom of a cylindrical secondary battery can(50). A method of setting fracture pressure of the safety vent controls the thickness of the safety vent. When setting the fracture pressure of the safety vent, the thickness is set to be thicker than the specific thickness of the safety vent, the gap gets narrow by forming the safety vent to face each other and the safety vent is opened by fracture pressure which is set to operate according to a specific thickness of the safety vent.
