PURPOSE: A connection method between a controller and a device in a home network and a system thereof are provided to prevent an incorrect connection between the controller and the device. CONSTITUTION: A master modem registers the identification information of a specific device according to a request and receives information including the identification information of the specific device from a slave modem(S100,S200). When the received identification information is not existed in the registered information, the master modem requests the extraction of the specific device to the slave modem(S300,S400). When the identification information is existed, the master modem executes the home network connection of the specific device(S500).
