To provide an electric vehicle simple in structure and light in weight, wherein a seat post is provided as one of the components of a body frame and the body frame can be utilized for housing a battery. The body frame (F) includes a main frame (14), a seat frame (15), a roof frame (16), and a shield support part (17). The main frame (14) includes a battery case (20) which is integrally continuous with a rear portion of a head pipe (18) and in which the battery (23) is housed, and the seat post (21) integrally continuous with a rear portion of the battery case (20). The seat frame (15) is configured to be connected to the upper end of the seat post (21) and to hold a seat (2). The roof frame (16) rises from the rear end of the seat frame (15) and supports the rear end of a roof (4). The shield support part (17) is projectingly provided on a head pipe (18) and, together with the windshield (3), supports a head lamp (32) disposed on the front surface side of the windshield (3). |
