OPTICAL RECEIVING APPARATUS OF SATELLITE BROADCASTING

PURPOSE: An optical receiving apparatus of satellite broadcasting is provided to be directly connected to a set-top box for satellite broadcasting, and convert optical signals into satellite broadcasting signals without an additional power supplying device. CONSTITUTION: A detecting unit(11) receives optical signals of satellite broadcasting from an optical signal dividing unit and converts the optical signals into electric signals. An amplifying unit(12) revises the intensity of the optical signals to be converted into satellite broadcasting signals. A bias tee(13) transmits the satellite broadcasting signals received from the amplifying unit to a set-top box for satellite broadcasting. The bias tee is supplied with DC power source by the set-top box. A voltage converting unit(14) supplies power outputted from the bias tee to the detecting unit and the amplifying unit.
