PURPOSE: A casting apparatus for a dental prosthesis for easily determining an optimal casting timing and a casting method thereof are provided to easily and accurately determine a casting timing, thereby casting a dental prosthesis without casting defects. CONSTITUTION: A casting apparatus for a dental prosthesis for easily determining an optimal casting timing manufactures the dental prosthesis as follows: An investment material fills the inside of a casting ring, and the investment material is hardened so that a cast(60) can be formed; a wax pattern manufactured into the shape of a dental prosthesis is housed inside the investment material; and molten metal, in which a molten material is melted, is injected into a mold from which the melted wax pattern is removed. A settling portion(61) is formed inside the cast, and the molten material is settled on the settling portion. A concave housing portion(62) is formed inside the settling portion, and at least one injecting port is formed on the bottom of the housing portion. A supporting ring for supporting the molten material upwardly protrudes on the top of the cast. |
