A vacuum cleaner is provided to miniaturize the vacuum cleaner by reducing the volumes of a cyclone unit and an auxiliary chamber connected to the cyclone unit. A vacuum cleaner includes a suction nozzle, a main body unit, a driving unit, a cyclone unit(320), a dust container. The suction nozzle suctions external air including dust. The main body unit is connected to the suction nozzle. The driving unit has a pan-motor assembly. The pan-motor assembly generates an air suction force for sucking the external air into the suction nozzle. The cyclone unit is installed in the main body unit, separates dust contained in air by a cyclone method, is arranged for a lengthwise shaft to be convergent to each other, and has a plurality of cyclones(321,322). The dust container is separably installed on the main body unit and stores dust separated by the cyclone unit. |
