<p>PURPOSE: An ERK signal transduction-related polynucleotide is provided to identify SNP with a relation with gastric cancer susceptibility, and to use the SNP as a clinical marker for diagnosing gastric cancer susceptibility. CONSTITUTION: A polynucleotide or a complementary polynucleotide thereof for diagnosing gastric cancer susceptibility is related to ERK signal transduction pathway, and is selected from the group consisting of sequence numbers 1-4. A kit for diagnosing gastric cancer susceptibility contains the polynucleotide or the complementary polynucleotide thereof. A method for evaluating gastric cancer susceptibility comprises a step of preparing nucleic acid from a sample, and a step of detecting the presence of a gene sequence which indicates gastric cancer development.</p> |
