The method involves producing fluoroketone in a gas form at predetermined pressure and temperature, and mixing the fluoroketone gas with carrier gas according to predefined proportions. A closed housing of a switchgear is filled with the fluoroketone gas and/or carrier gas in a definite manner such that partial pressure of the fluoroketone gas is maximum and equal to saturating steam pressure of the fluoroketone gas.
