PURPOSE: A device for informing a driver of a fuel efficiency of a vehicle is provided to improve the fuel efficiency of a vehicle by inducing a driver to remove loaded baggage by informing the driver a change in fuel efficiency due to the presence of the loaded baggage in a trunk and to reduce environmental pollution by decreasing gas exhaust. CONSTITUTION: A device(100) for informing a driver of a fuel efficiency of a vehicle comprises at least one sensor(110), a calculation unit(120), and a display unit(130). The sensor measures the weight of baggage loaded inside the trunk of a vehicle(102). The calculation unit calculates a first fuel efficiency and a second fuel efficiency. The first fuel efficiency indicates the fuel efficiency of the vehicle with baggage loaded in the trunk. The second fuel efficiency indicates the predicted fuel efficiency of the vehicle when removing the baggage from the trunk.
