<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium conveying device that can suppress a decrease in drying efficiency in a drying region, and to provide a recording apparatus provided with the medium conveying device. <P>SOLUTION: The medium conveying device includes: a conveying means for conveying a cut sheet CS from an upstream side to a downstream side in a conveyance direction; a drying means for applying a drying process to the cut sheet by blowing heated air from an outlet 53 formed at a position opposed to the surface of the cut sheet somewhere in a conveyance path of the cut sheet being conveyed; a conveyance roller 35 disposed downstream of the drying means in the conveyance direction, and having a rotating shaft 35J for rotating around an axis extending along a direction crossing the conveyance direction, and a plurality of roller bodies 35R supported on the rotating shaft at an interval from each other in an axial direction, and for making abutment into the surface of the cut sheet; and a wing-shaped part 35H arranged in an area not supporting the roller body in the rotating shaft, and for restricting a flow in the conveyance direction of air blown out from the outlet. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
