<p>According to the present invention, disparity images having an appropriate disparity value can be acquired. A solid-state image capturing device (20) comprises first R phase difference pixels (R1R, G1R, B1R), first L phase difference pixels (R1L, G1L, B1L), second R phase difference pixels (R2R, G2R, B2R), and second L phase difference pixels (R2L, G2L, B2L). The first R phase difference pixels have high sensitivity to the light coming from the right oblique direction at an angle alpha. The first L phase difference pixels have high sensitivity to the light coming from the left oblique direction at an angle alpha. The second R phase difference pixels have high sensitivity to the light coming from the right oblique direction at an angle beta. The second L phase difference pixels have high sensitivity to the light coming from the left oblique direction at an angle beta. The angle alpha is larger than the angle beta. In a first imaging mode, a disparity image is generated from imaging signals of the first R phase difference pixels and the first L phase difference pixels. In a second imaging mode, a disparity image is generated from imaging signals of the second R phase difference pixels and the second L phase difference pixels.</p> |
