<p>A resident cell selection method and a base station. The method comprises: a base station acquiring capability information and user subscription information of a terminal; the base station, according to the user subscription information and the capability information, determining priorities for neighboring cell frequency points supported by the terminal in neighboring cell frequency points of the terminal; and the base station sending the priorities of the neighboring cell frequency points to the terminal. By means of the above solution, an operator can enable rational use of multi-mode network resources to perform differentiated services for clients according to subscription information of users and terminal capability.</p> |
