摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new nucleic acid molecule suppressible of gene expression. <P>SOLUTION: This single-stranded RNA molecule includes an expression-suppressing sequence suppressing expression of a target gene, including, from 5' side to 3' side, a 5' side region (Xc), a linker region (Lx) and a 3' side region (X) in this order; where the 5' side region (Xc) is complementary to the 3' side region (X), at least one of the 5' side region (Xc) and the 3' side region (X) contains the expression-suppressing sequence, and the molecule satisfies at least either condition of the following (1) and (2). The condition (1): a 3' terminal region of the 5' side region (Xc) and a 5' terminal region of the 3' side region (X) hybridize by a hydrogen bonding between an adenine base and a urasil base.
