<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing high-quality bisphenol A capable of preventing contamination by wear particles, elution of foreign matter, or the like in a crystallization treated liquid of the bisphenol A. <P>SOLUTION: A scraper used in production of the bisphenol A for scraping off crystals adhering to a cooling surface of a crystallization machine, by which crystals including the bisphenol A are produced, has a scraping piece formed of a silane crosslinked high-density polyethylene resin or a polyvinylidene fluoride resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
