<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable appropriate switching of control modes when carrying out run control of a vehicle by cooperation of two or more control modes that are different in braking conditions. <P>SOLUTION: The run control device 4 of a vehicle switches the control modes to be adopted based on the run conditions by cooperatively controlling two or more control modes to control of driving and braking of the vehicle under mutually different braking conditions. The threshold of switching from the curve deceleration control mode to the constant speed control mode is changed according to the state of the gradient of the track.
