<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal device where the display defect due to uneven distribution of impurities in a liquid crystal layer is eliminated, a manufacturing method for the liquid crystal device, and an electronic apparatus having the liquid crystal device. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal device includes: a thin film transistor (TFT) 30 as a transistor provided on an element substrate 10 as a substrate; a pixel electrode 15; and a pillar-like contact part CNT4 for electrically connecting the pixel electrode 15 to a second source/drain region 30b in a semiconductor layer 30a of the TFT 30.
