<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fishing twine which is high in strength and specific gravity, excellent in abrasion resistance, and slippery to fish, and to provide a fishing net using the fishing twine. <P>SOLUTION: The fishing twine 10 is spun from a blend of polyvinylidene fluoride fiber 1a and polyester fiber 1b. If the fishing net made of the fishing twine is used as a box net, it maintains a box shape as designed, even if it is driven by a tidal current, because the fishing net is high in the specific gravity and hardiness. Then the catch is improved because the fishing net prevents fish from running away due to a decrease in the volume of the box net. Moreover, the fishing net in such a form of operation controls the damage of the fish caught and reduces resistance in pulling up and down of the box net, because it has a small coefficient of friction, which is derived from the polyvinylidene fluoride fiber 1a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
