<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve compactification of a fuel cell of the flat arrangement type. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell includes: a plurality of cells which has an electrolyte membrane, an anode provided on one surface of the electrolyte membrane, and a cathode provided on the other surface of the electrolyte membrane and are arranged in planar; electric connecting means for electrically connecting adjoining cells; and an insulator, where the electrolyte membrane and/or the insulator are/is present on a surround of the electric connecting means and the electric connecting means contacts with whole or a part of the surround of the anode and cathode thus obtaining electric connection between the electric connecting means and anode and cathode of respective cells, the electric connection means being bent, and the electric connecting means and the electrolyte membrane and/or the insulator surrounding the electric connecting means being protruded toward an anode surface or a cathode surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
