<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decolorable electrophotographic toner capable of reliable decoloration with excellent decolorability, that is at high rate of decoloration, and a method of manufacturing the toner. <P>SOLUTION: A decolorable electrophotographic toner is obtained by mixing a binder resin, a near-infrared absorption pigment, and a decoloration agent, and melting and kneading the mixture resulting from the mixing. A resin that is solid at normal temperature having a weight average molecular weight of 300 or more and 10,000 or less is added as an additive resin in an amount of 10 to 40 mass% relative to a weight of toner during the mixing of the binder resin, the near-infrared absorption pigment, and the decoloration agent and/or during the melting and kneading. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
