<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of improving accuracy in analog-digital conversion while suppressing an increase in a circuit scale. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: a comparison circuit for comparing a reference signal based on pixels in a reset state of the pixels with a comparison signal for the reference signal, varying with respect to a time, and comparing a valid signal based on pixels in a non-reset state of the pixels with a comparison signal for the valid signal, having a varying rate with respect to a time larger than that of the comparison signal for the reference signal; a counter circuit for counting a first count value until a magnitude relation between the reference signal based on the pixels and the comparison signal for the reference signal is inverted, and for counting a second count value until a magnitude relation between the valid signal based on the pixels and the comparison signal for the valid signal is inverted; and a correction section for correcting a difference in resolution between the first count value and the second count value corresponding to a difference in varying rate with respect to a time between the comparison signal for the reference signal and the comparison signal for the valid signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
