<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which suppresses interference between a contact/separating mechanism and a coupling member when a transfer body is removed from a device main body. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: an image holding body that is rotatably disposed on a device main body and holds an image; a transfer body to which the image held by the image holding body is transferred, and that is disposed on the device main body removable in a direction perpendicular to a rotation axis direction of the image holding body; a contact/separating mechanism that is disposed on the transfer body, for contacting/separating the transfer body with/from the image holding body; and a coupling member that is disposed on the device main body and is coupled to the contact/separating mechanism along the rotation axis direction of the image holding body, for causing the contact/separating mechanism to contact the transfer body with the image holding body when being normally rotated to a first rotation position in a coupled state with respect to the contact/separating mechanism, causing the contact/separating means to separate the transfer body from the image holding body when being reversely rotated from the first rotation position to a second rotation position in the coupled state, and being able to be retracted so as to allow the transfer body to be removed in a direction opposite to a coupling direction with respect to the contact/separating mechanism at the second rotation position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
