The present invention relates to a system for inserting a mapping probe into, and for withdrawing said mapping probe from a conduit line, and a method of transporting the mapping probe by using the system. The system includes: a launcher installed at a starting point of a mapping section of the conduit line to insert the mapping probe into the conduit line; and a receiver installed at an end point of the mapping section to withdraw the mapping probe from the conduit line. The launcher includes a stopper capable of selectively fixing the mapping probe, and the receiver includes at least one pair of flow-controlling ports to control the quantity of flow in the designated conduit line.
