<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maximally use a suppliable electric power amount without unnecessarily lowering throughput. <P>SOLUTION: This ink jet recording device performing the recording on a recording medium by scanning the recording medium with a recording head with a plurality of recording elements to which drive pulses are applied to cause an electric current to flow therethrough for performing the recording includes: a driving condition acquisition part 401 acquiring a drive condition of the recording head; a recording dot number detection part 402 detecting the number of data indicating the recording, for each arbitrary area in one scanning on the recording medium of the recording head; and a recording method control part 404 determining the recording method to the recording medium in the ink jet recording device in accordance with the drive condition acquired by the driving condition acquisition part 401 and an electric current value flowing through the recording head in one scanning, calculated on the basis of the number of data detected by the dot number detection part 402. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
